    Another device manager is empty because there are security issues in the registry key. Fix it, go to Start, then Run and Mode in REGEDT32. Click Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE window or expand this hive, and also navigate to the following key:

    Now right click on the Enum and select Permissions. If the group or username file field is empty, that’s the problem! There can be two names: System and All.

    Click the Add button, enter everything and click OK. Select the Allow everyone to read check box. Now click “Add” again, login and login. Select the “Allow” checkbox next to the “Read and full control over the system” box. It should look like this:

    If you select the System checkbox, you must select both checkboxes in the Allow section. Also, remember to click the Advanced button after adding both users and selecting Reset Placement Entries for any child objects whose entries here relate directly to child objects.

    Why is my Device Manager blank?

    If your Device Manager is completely empty or empty, the issue can occur for two reasons: either buyers are unable to access a critical Windows service, or the Device Manager key permissions in your Wind registryows are damaged.

    Method 4 – Change Registry Permissions

    Another target device manager might be empty, no doubt due to security issues with a key in the registry. Fix it, click Start, Run and type REGEDT32. Click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE window or abovehive the hive and often skip to the next key:

    Now right click on the Enum and select Permissions. If the “Group” or “Username” list box is empty, then there is a problem! There should be two names: System and Everyone.

    Click the Add button and enter. Click OK. Usually they check the box next to Read for all. Now click “Add” again, also login. Check the Allow 18 meters box next to Full System Reading and Control. It should look like this:
